Framing of the MonthLimited Edition Trout PrintThis months framing showcases a very rich design using the visual texture of a fabric mat combined with that of a rustic frame. We chose to deepen the green background color of the water using the dark primary "suede" mat and highlight the fish itself via the lighter inner borders. We then emphasized the rich colors of the matting and the fish by using the frame to play off those same colors. 
This was a signed, Limited Edition artist print. Given the value inherent in a signed, limited edition piece of artwork, we chose Preservation Plus framing. Preservation Plus is a FASTFRAME exclusive service. With Preservation Plus, we use only Acid Free and Acid Nuetral products. We use techniques inside the framing that retain the original condition of the piece which protects its collectible value. We also then add the extra step of sealing the inside of the frame itself to protect all of the contents of the framing from the acids in the wood of the frame. Finally, we used TruVue Museum glass to protect the print from ultraviolet fading over time as well as to dramatically reduce the glare normally associated with glass. |
